Parents

Scoresby Secondary College encourages parents to get involved and help make our school a better place. We are in the process of transforming our school and parent feedback is vital.
ParentNet is our parent group and they are always keen to welcome new parents to the College community. They organize events to build our school community and raise money to buy additional resources. For example, the Year 11 Debutante Ball and the Second Hand Uniform Shop raise money. Our Year 12 final day luncheon (which is shared with parents and staff) celebrates school life and helps farewell students.
ParentNet holds a meeting once per term in the evening at the school. Often staff members present so that the group is informed about College life. ParentNet is a friendly group. Don’t wait for a personal invitation – come along to a meeting or morning tea and be part of the College community.
If you would like to join ParentNet, they can be contacted via the General Office. Activities and meetings are advertised in the Score newsletter. If you don’t have time to attend meetings, you can help from home or your office.
