Melbourne Airport is located to the north of the city and is easily accessed from Scoresby Secondary College by the freeway/tollway system. Alternatively, it can be accessed by taking a suburban train to Southern Cross station and the Skybus to the airport.
Homestay
International students live with a relative or in local homestay accommodation organised through the school. Most homestay providers live close to the college so that students can walk to school or take a short bus ride.
The College carefully selects homestay accommodation for students who do not have relatives in Melbourne and closely monitors the welfare of students during their stay with the Australian families.
Accommodation
Scoresby Secondary College maintains high standards for our International student accommodation.
Pre-departure
Students and families are provided with a welcome package containing essential documents which outline the school policies, homestay policy, cost of books and uniform, and information about living in Australia. These documents are designed to make the transition as smooth as possible. It allows communication to take place between students and the International Student Coordinator prior to arrival in Australia.
Airport Pickup
All students who require airport pick up will be met by the International Student Coordinator or delegate and taken to their homestay.
Compass Online Communication
