Technology

The Technology Learning Area includes studies in Information and Communication Technology (Computers) as well as the practical areas of Materials Technology (Wood, Fabrics, Metals and Plastics); systems Technology (System Design and Electronics) and Technological Design and Development (Foods, Wood and Textiles).

A highlight of the College calendar each year is the Try It At Scoresby Evening for primary school students and their families. This informative hands-on program involves students and staff from the College, providing visitors with a clearer understanding of what this and other practical Learning Areas incorporate.

Students have also participated in the Connell Wagner Bridge Building Competition, the Timber and Working with Wood Show, and the Royal Melbourne Show, demonstrating high level skills.
