International Students

International students

Scoresby Secondary College welcomes international students. We work closely with English language schools that provide intensive English language teaching until students are ready to learn with the other College students.
Scoresby Secondary College has dedicated staff to assist with enrolment, homestay accommodation and pastoral care. Students are supported by our highly experienced student services team including Head of Student Services, social worker, chaplain, psychologists, skilled first aid staff and the careers centre. A study area with teacher support is available after school in most subjects.

Homestay

International students live with a relative or in local homestay accommodation organised through the school. Most homestay providers live close to the college, so that students can walk to school or take a short bus ride.
The College carefully selects homestay accommodation for students who do not have relatives in Melbourne and closely monitors the welfare of students during their stay with the Australian families.
